With references to the above, it is to inform you that the details of guidelines are furnished herewith for change of examination centers

     1) Change of examination center to the exam registered candidates may be permitted in           genuine cases only.
  2) The regular course students shall not be considered.
  3) Change of center within the station is not permitted.
  4) Change of examination center may be allowed in respect of Regular students after    they complete the prescribed course of study at the Institution where they have been  admitted initially.

 FOR (REGULAR ) CANDIDATES 

1)  Female candidate got married during the course of study and seeking      change of center to the place due to for her husband’s place of working / Residence. Such requisition shall be entertained on production of (Latest) service certificate in original of the husband issued by the employer/competent authority (MRO).

  2)  In case of candidates father or mother retired from service or transferred   to another station to which the change of center sought may be considered     on production of the (Latest) certificate issued by competent authority (MRO)/Employer.

 3) Change of Center may be considered on the priority of category of employment.
  I.  Govt. Establishments.
  II. Public Sector undertakings
  III.Private Sector Establishment Registered under concerned departments.
 IV. M.N.C. organizations.
 V. Self employed business establishments (Registered) P.T.O




4)    a).  Change of centre may be allowed only when the branch studied by the candidate      is offered in the proposed examination centre.
      b)   Change of Center may be allowed as many times as the candidate desires subject    to production of certificates and payment of fee for each notification.
   c). Change of examination center may be allowed from Govt. Polytechnic to another Govt. Polytechnic only and from Private Polytechnic to Govt. Polytechnic within the state(only)  as per their request.  However change of examination center from Govt. to Private and Private to Private Polytechnic/Institutions shall not be allowed.
  5)  Filtration of applications and allocation of examination centers shall be under taken by the Board.

 6)  The candidates applied under late fee and Tatkal Scheme shall not be allowed for such change of examination center.

 7)  The change in examination center shall be limited to 10% of sanctioned intake    per Branch / Institution at which center the candidate seeking to appear for examination.

  8)   The above shall be decided on first come first served basis.

 9) The change in examination center will be granted only on payment of fee through D.D in favour of “THE SECRETARY, SBTET, T.S” payable at Hyderabad from any Nationalized bank.     Rs. 500/- per Regular candidates (Day-time).

 The Principals are requested to inform the candidates to submit the application along with necessary certificates and required fee as mentioned above to this office on or before 28/02/2017 so as to enable this office to process the applications based on the guidelines mentioned above. Applications will not be entertained under any circumstances after prescribed date through institution or from the candidates who apply directly to this office.

 ***   With reference to the subject cited, it is hereby informed that the Eligibility Rules to appear for C-14 6th semester examination are modified and  are herewith communicated to all the Polytechnics.
Modified Eligibility Rules for appearing 6th Semester Examination
For Regular Students 
Existing Rule
i) Puts the required percentage of   attendance in 6th semester and.
 ii) Should not have failed in more than six backlogs subjects of 1st year, 3rd& 4th semesters put together.
Modified Rule
i) Puts the required percentage of  attendance in 6th semester and.
ii) Should have obtained eligibility to appear for 4th semester examination.


For IVC Students
Existing Rule
i) Puts the required percentage of attendance in the 6th semester.
ii) Should have obtained eligibility to appear for V semester examination.
iii)  Should not have failed in more than Six backlog subjects of III & IV Semester put together.
Modified Rule
i) Puts the required percentage of attendance in the 6th semester.
ii) Should have obtained eligibility to      appear for V semester examination.


           The Principals of all the polytechnics and Engineering colleges offering 2nd shift polytechnics are requested to communicate the same to the concerned staff and students.

     With reference to the subject cited above, I furnish herewith copies of the detailed notification inviting applications from eligible candidates of C-09, C14 and C16 Schemes  &  ER-91 II year Pharmacy to appear for the Regular/Supplementary and backlog examination of Mar/Apr-2017 i.e. commencing from 23-03-2017 for the courses C09, C16 & ER-91 and for C14 scheme commencing from 06-04- 2017 as mentioned the in the notification.
              Further, it is informed that the candidates willing to appear for the above examinations have to approach any APOnline Centre or Polytechnic where they are studying/studied, with recent passport size photo for registration and obtaining hall ticket. The student can also make the fee payment through payment gateway i.e. Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking. For backlog candidates the APOnline centre/Polytechnics operator will collect the Examination fee and generate the hall ticket by uploading the photo and handover the printout of the hall ticket to the candidate. For this service, APOnline centre/Polytechnics operator will collect Rs.15/- from the candidate per hall ticket for Normal and Late fee and Rs.25/- for Tatkal. The candidate can generate the hall ticket directly by making payment through payment gateway (i.e. Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking). The regular candidates can make the fee payment by any of the above methods but the hall ticket will not be generated until the candidate put up the required attendance to appear for the examination. The hall tickets for regular candidates will be generated only after verification of attendance. The candidate has to obtain the signature on the hall ticket from the concerned Head of Section/Principal before appearing for the examination. (Note: Before remitting the fee, the candidate shall ensure his eligibility status, since fee once paid is not refundable.)

     Further, Principals are requested to give the necessary instructions to the Head of Sections to sign on the hall tickets obtained from the APOnline, e-Seva centres/Polytechnics/Payment gateway for subjects after thorough verification. The amount collected from the students towards examination fee is to be paid online through multiple payment option. The money collected is to be deposited in somebody’s bank account having net banking facility and make the payment through <multiple payment> option. The reconciliation will take place immediately. The concerned Head of section can verify the status of the payment in the report placed in his login. The Polytechnics can make the fee payment  without fine only. During Late and Tatkal period the students have to make the fee payment through APOnline or Payment Gateway only. The Polytechnics have to make the fee payment during the period without fine only. If the Polytechnics failed in making the fee payment in-time, they have to pay the fee existing during that period. For any query send the mail with details to systemanalyst.apsbtet@gmail.com. The hall tickets cannot be generated towards the amounts directly deposited in the SBTET account as it is automated.

It is further informed that if the details, for any candidate, are not available in NR, the Polytechnics can add the NR with HOS login in <Dofpportal> through ADDNR button after thorough verification of eligibility. The HTs will be generated for all such candidates after closing of fee payment period.

     4.    CH/CHOT/ CHPC/ CHPP / MET/ TT.  C-09  VII Semesters.
     5.    BM - C-09 V Semesters.

        The Principals of the concerned Polytechnics/institutions where Regular exams are being conducted are requested to ensure the in time completion of the syllabus i.e. on or before 28-02-2017 for C16 first year, on before 25-02-2017 for second year ER91 and on or before 22-03-2017 for C14 IV and VI Semester as per the academic calendar. A copy of the Notification is to be displayed on the notice board of the Institution for information of the candidates and wide publicity shall be given among the students by circulating a copy of the Notification and the memo in the reference 1st cited into the class rooms.
       Candidates who possess 75% of attendance only should be permitted to appear for the Regular Examination and if any candidate does not put in the required percentage of attendance he/she should not be permitted to appear for the examination. However the Principals are empowered to condone the shortage of attendance up to 10% based on Medical Grounds only, on production of supporting material of such claim and after collecting the necessary amount of penalty from the candidates.

The details of candidates eligible for condonation are to be uploaded to the fee payment portal by 01-03-2017 for IV and VI Semesters by considering the presumptive attendance for the remaining period and the hall tickets for those candidates will be generated after payment of condonation fee through the APOnline/ Payment gateway i.e Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking before 06-03-2017. Principals are requested not to take any DDs towards condonation fee.

      The principals are further requested to upload the detained candidates data in the Diploma online fee portal so as to restrict the generation of hall ticket for the candidates who are not eligible to appear for the examination due to lack of attendance. For the regular candidates the hall tickets will be generated after closing date of fee payment.

      The principals are requested to ensure that the Hall tickets will not be issued to the candidates who are detained for shortage of attendance even though they paid the examination fee. The details of detained candidates are to be uploaded to the fee payment portal by 06-03-2017 by considering the presumptive attendance for the remaining period.

      The URL for online examination fee payment is http://apsbtet.net/dofpportal  for the Polytechnics in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Transfer of examination centre, for the students, is not permitted after last working day under any   circumstances.

  2. Inter Vocational Course (IVC) candidates admitted under C-09 Scheme into II year (III Semester) Diploma  Courses directly in the academic year   2012-2013 (Pin with ‘11’)  batch of  3 Year Diploma courses.  
  3. Candidates admitted under ER-91 Scheme during the academic Year 2012-2013 (Pin with ‘12’)  into 2 year Diploma in Pharmacy.


b) The following candidates are not eligible for Mar/Apr -2017 Diploma Examinations.


  1. Candidates admitted under C-09 Scheme during the academic year   2009-2010 in to 3 Year Diploma courses.  
  2. Inter Vocational Course (IVC) candidates admitted under C-09 Scheme into II year Diploma
courses directly, in the academic year 2010-2011 (Pin with 09) & 2011-2012 (Pin with 10) year wise of 3 year Diploma Day– Time Courses and readmitted.
  1. Candidates admitted under C-05 Scheme during the academic Year 2008-2009 and prior Batches into 3 Year Day- Time Diploma courses and readmitted candidates of C-09 scheme.
  2. Candidates admitted under C-05 Scheme during the academic Year 2008-2009 and prior batches of 3½ Year sandwich diploma Courses SDE (BM) and readmitted candidates of C 09 scheme.
  3. Inter Vocational Course (IVC) candidates admitted under C-05 Scheme into II year Diploma
